Board approves hires, FMLA leave and separation agreement
Summary
Trustees approved a hire for a wrestling coach, granted an employee's FMLA leave and adopted a Separation Agreement and Release with Shawn Collins during the Dec. 18 meeting.
The Marseilles Elementary School District #150 Board approved several personnel actions Dec. 18, including hiring a wrestling coach and granting leave under the Family & Medical Leave Act. On a motion by Julie Morey, seconded by Byone, the board approved pending transfers/hires including hiring Nate Schaefer as the wrestling coach, subject to licensure and background checks.
The board also approved a request for leave under the Family & Medical Leave Act for Mrs. Kenzie Frank, the district nurse. Separately, trustees voted to adopt a Separation Agreement and Release of Claims with Shawn Collins on a motion by Julie Morey and seconded by Christy Carpenter; that motion also carried unanimously. The minutes do not provide the terms of the separation agreement.
