At the July 20 meeting the Milo City Council approved an alcohol permit for Casey’s by motion. The council later approved Houston’s on Main’s alcohol permit; Councilmember Rodgers abstained from that vote.
Council approved a portable building permit for 308 South 3rd Street contingent on the property owner combining two parcels and providing proof to the city. The council also approved a garage building permit at 105 E Elm Street. Council reviewed expired abatement nuisance letters and directed the clerk to provide courtesy calls to property owners and tabled formal abatement action to the next meeting.
No fines or enforcement orders were issued at the July 20 meeting; the portable permit is contingent upon the property-owner condition being met.
