The board adopted Resolution 2-1-26 at the Feb. 2 meeting declaring 11 large round brome hay bales surplus and directing a sealed-bid public sale at the March 2, 2026 regular meeting. Ryan Osborn moved to adopt the resolution and Trent Wheatley seconded; the motion carried.
The resolution directs the clerk to publish notice of the sale in three prominent places in the village and in the Lincoln Journal Star for at least seven days prior to the sale. The resolution indicates the village determined the total fair market value of the listed property is less than $30 and reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
