Rodney Hease (transcript spellings vary) and agent Brad Buechel presented a map amendment request to rezone about 4 acres from Exclusive Agricultural (EA) to Agricultural-Residential (A-R) and about 74 acres from EA to Exclusive Agricultural Preservation (EA-P) in the Town of Brillion. Meuer told the committee staff found the proposal consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan, the Farmland Preservation Plan and the county land division and zoning ordinances.
The committee voted unanimously to forward the request to the County Board with a recommendation to approve. The application was described as a farm consolidation that would allow sale of agricultural land surrounding an existing farmstead; the motion to forward carried without recorded opposition.
