Shannon Kingsley, Assistant Administrator and Finance Director, presented Harvey County's 2025 2nd Quarter Financial Report, telling commissioners that "year-to-date revenues and expenditures are on track with the budget and in comparison to last year," and that investment income is above the benchmark.
The packet includes detail showing the General Fund at roughly 46–50% of many annual budgets at midyear, and a summary of sales and use tax collections: July's sales tax collections were reported as down about 4.4% for the month but up roughly 2.5% year-to-date compared with the same period last year. Kingsley provided the investment summary showing county cash invested across short-term and one-year instruments, with an overall yield (as of June 30) above the three-month Treasury bill benchmark included in the packet.
Commissioners received the report; no additional action was required at the meeting.
