"We've never waived any of those," a staff member said, and commissioners requested more information before deciding. The board also agreed to reschedule a work session from Aug. 24 to Aug. 26 with a 3:30 p.m. start to accommodate calendar conflicts; staff said they would update the agenda accordingly.
Other items noted for future agenda action included a UCTAC appointment for Leslie Garcia and fair-related purchases. No final board decisions on the fee waiver were recorded in this session.
