Owner seeks to repurchase small foreclosed lot; staff say funds provided

Doug (speaker 10) described a foreclosed property case: a half lot adjacent to an owner-occupied house that was foreclosed for unpaid taxes. "This property we was foreclosed on for doing property taxes. Property owners are requesting to purchase it back," Doug said, and added that funds had been provided for repurchase though notices were sent to multiple addresses.
Commissioners asked staff for details about the title, mailing addresses and whether the county had received sufficient proof of ownership and payment. Staff said the matter is being handled administratively and will be brought back to the board with the appropriate documents for final approval of the repurchase; no final board action on repurchase was recorded in this session.
