Council acknowledged that two RFP packages were received for conceptual design of the 20-acre property north of town (the former hospital site). One submission was identified as Method Studio of Salt Lake City (with pricing in a sealed envelope) and the other as Myers Anderson of Pocatello. The council did not award a contract; staff will publicly open required materials and begin a review process the following morning and report back at the next council meeting.
The council emphasized transparency and said selection will follow review of materials, cost proposals and alignment with the city’s goals for parks, recreation and other community uses.
