DHHS offers quarterly new-provider meetings and onboarding support

The Office of Service Review holds quarterly virtual meetings and is updating review and outreach to provide new providers with onboarding resources; the next new-provider meeting is scheduled for Dec. 2 at 1 p.m.
Carrie from the Office of Service Review encouraged new providers to join quarterly targeted virtual meetings designed to provide training, resources and opportunities to ask specialists questions. "So our next 1 will be December 2 at 1PM," she said.
She described outreach plans that include proactively contacting new providers after contracts are approved and again after billing starts, adding procurement workflow charts to the purchasing website, and offering DHHSnewprovider@utah.gov as a central contact for new-provider questions. The office also coordinates with required pre-solicitation and contracting processes (for DSPD 91172 providers) to increase points of contact during onboarding.
Carrie asked providers to submit topics for future sessions and said the office will share meeting links and post recordings for those unable to attend.
