Councilmember moved to advance the redlined agreement and asked legal to review edits before final execution, saying, "I'll make that motion, as amended and redline it by legal to forward this school for their new approval." The motion was seconded by the Chair and passed on a voice vote. The board then voted to hire Jeremy Rasmussen as the SRO; the motion to hire was made, seconded and approved with an affirmative voice vote.
The board noted the school system may return the MOU with further changes; if so, legal will review and the item may be brought back to the board. No dollar amounts for the SRO assignment were discussed on the record in this session.
