Emergency Manager Kristen Longville told the Board that Kingsbury County had exceeded its annual TextMyGov limit of 50,000 messages and that usage stood at 51,164 messages. Longville presented three purchase options and the Board approved buying 25,000 additional messages for $350 to cover near-term needs.
Longville said she believed unused messages would roll over to the next year but that she would confirm the rollover policy. The purchase was approved by motion (Nelson, second Spilde) and recorded as unanimous.
