Tangipahoa district recognizes more than a dozen REACH University graduates

The Tangipahoa Parish School Board on Aug. 4 recognized a group of REACH University graduates — district support staff who earned bachelor’s degrees while working full time. A district presenter said the partnership began in 2021 and “to date, more than 80 support employees have chosen to start strong.”
The presenter read short bios for each graduate, listing schools where they completed residencies and current teaching assignments. Board members congratulated the graduates and praised the back-to-school rally earlier that day. The board noted the district continues to support employees enrolled in REACH University to help fill teacher vacancies.
