The Kingsbury County Board of County Commissioners approved Change Order No. 1 for the 425th Avenue paving project and authorized a draw to cover contractor and consultant invoices. Andrew Kangas of Civil Design told the board the change order covers an 18-inch culvert modification and removal of a beaver dam, adding $7,661.43 to the project cost.
Auditor Echo Steffensen presented Draw Request No. 3 totaling $789,468.16, which the agenda item breaks down as $757,057.34 for asphalt paving, $29,540.00 for civil design and $2,870.82 for Kingsbury Electric. The board approved the draw request and authorized Chairman Kyle Lee to sign the paperwork at the June 4 meeting.
