The Shawnee Board approved a broad consent docket at its June 30 meeting that included routine minutes, financial reports, encumbrance registers, donations and several agreements. Jeanne Swinney moved to approve the consent agenda and Russ Oliver seconded; the board president corrected the General Fund 11 encumbrances line to read 1547–1558 before the vote. The motion carried with five yes votes and two absences.
Items in the consent docket recorded in the minutes include: minutes of the June 2, 2025 regular meeting; Treasurer's Report; encumbrance registers for FY24–25 (General Fund 11 Encumbrances 1547–1556, Building Fund 21 Encumbrances 242, Gift Fund 81 Encumbrances 60) and FY25–26 (General Fund 11 Encumbrances 41–252, Building Fund 21 Encumbrances 8–108, Gift Fund 81 Encumbrances 1–2, Insurance Fund 86 Encumbrances 1); public gifts in accordance with Policy BB; student activity fund transfers and subaccounts for 2025–26; disposal of surplus school property; sanctioning requests for organizations including Shawnee QB Club, Shawnee High School Pom Booster Club (SHS POM), Shawnee Baseball Boosters, Shawnee Band Boosters Association, Shawnee Hole in One Club and Shawnee Soccer Booster Club; and several agreements such as clinical placements with Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma Baptist University, speech and occupational therapy services with TheraPeds, and a "Faith 7 Activity Center Agreement" for 2025–26.
The consent action also recorded district administrative appointments including the Certificate of Municipal Order (Tristan Wyatt, School Treasurer), District Purchasing Officer, District Encumbrance Clerk and Minutes Clerk, and School Nutrition Accounts Payable Clerk for 2025–26. Several routine compliance and tax-exempt bond guidelines were also acknowledged in the docket.
