The board said it could not locate a relevant ordinance online at the meeting and decided to research the ordinance language and bring the matter back for discussion next month. Rodney had earlier suggested the village give 30 days' notice to the current garbage contractor to solicit bids.
No vote was taken on changing service or passing notice at this meeting; the item is set for follow-up and possible action after staff research and cost comparisons.
