Borough Manager Cindy Wells told council that seven Renaissance grant applications were received totaling $60,606 in proposed project costs and requesting $23,600 in grant funding. Wells said $90,547.35 remained in the Renaissance Grant fund and recommended approving all seven applications on the basis that the improvements would help fight blight.
Councilor Steadman moved to approve the recommended Renaissance grants totaling $23,600 for the 2024/2025 grant period; Councilor Osborn seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The council did not list award-by-award breakdowns in the meeting minutes; the total project amount and requested grant total were recorded on the record.
