Subcommittee to issue citywide survey on objective design standards after workshop feedback

During public comment resident Bernie Stein asked, "Is it possible to join the committee?" Staff and the chair explained the subcommittee is composed of commissioners DeJodia and Ortiz plus planning staff, but that the public is invited to provide input at informational hearings and submit written comments during the subcommittee process. Staff said they will announce the survey through the planning and building newsletter and the city website to encourage broad participation.
Commissioners thanked subcommittee members and consultants for their work and encouraged broad outreach. The outcome of the subcommittee's work will return to the full commission for recommendation and then to city council for adoption if advanced.
