The Shawnee Public Schools Board unanimously approved its Consent Docket at the June 2 meeting. The docket included prior meeting minutes, treasurer's reports, encumbrance registers for FY24–25 and FY25–26, encumbrance change orders, public gifts, fundraiser requests and school activity fund transfers.
Also approved were multiple agreements and memoranda of understanding: Oklahoma Hearing Solutions (audiology service contract); an extension with ESS South Central, LLC for substitute staffing; a 2025–2026 Title III consortium cooperative agreement; a memorandum of agreement with the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Behavioral Health Program; an MOU with CREOKS Mental Health Services, Inc.; agreements with Team Clinic Management Partners, LLC and D.A. Lamont Consulting Services, LLC (Task Orders 003 and 004 and an additional contract); the district's participation in an Opioid Abatement Plan Grant; and a contract with The Center of Education Law.
The board also approved a travel request for two National History Day contestants and chaperones to attend the National History Day contest June 8–13, 2025 in College Park, Maryland. Turner Bass moved to approve the consent agenda and Mandy Hillhouse seconded; the motion carried 6–0 with Kristen Wilson absent.
