Dakins Lake cabin project to be re-bid after no responses; board approves revised plans

Ryan Wiemold, Parks Superintendent (participating via Zoom), told the board that the Dakins Lake cabin project received no bids at the initial letting. County staff added clarifying language to the bid documents and reviewed floor plans; with that change the board authorized the county to release the project for bid again. Chair Linda Murken opened the public hearing at 10:11 a.m., and, hearing no comments, closed it at 10:11 a.m.
Supervisor Latifah Faisal moved and Chair Murken seconded approval of the final plans, specifications, form of contract, and authorization to release bids for the Dakins Lake cabin project. The motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. County staff will proceed with the revised solicitation process.
