Sanders said Allen currently serves as assistant public works director in Norfolk, Nebraska, and is a licensed street superintendent.
Council amended a clerical reference to remove the prior incumbent’s name, then voted to approve the appointment. "We are very pleased to present Anna Allen," Sanders said. The motion to confirm the appointment carried 7–0.
