Board approves guest-house special exception for Pavey on Solar Creek Road

The planning commission recommended approval 6–0.
Margaret Pavey, the applicant, told the board the home is intended for occasional family use and is not a rental. "We're not building a mansion. It's just a 1 bedroom... just for us," she said. The public hearing drew no opposition; the board closed the hearing, moved to approve the special exception subject to staff conditions, and approved it by voice vote. Staff confirmed the county may revoke the special-exception permit if conditions are violated and will require usual building and health permits prior to occupancy.
