Floodwood activities committee confirms fall, winter schedules and signup timeline

The Floodwood Public School District Activities Committee reviewed scheduling for upcoming seasons at its Sept. 13, 2024 meeting. Officials for both fall and winter were reported as secured, and the committee said the softball schedule is set.
Committee members said basketball signups are planned for the MEA period and signups for spring sports will be scheduled around Thanksgiving and the Christmas break. The committee recorded attendance at roll call: Cory Suonvieri, Frank Bartsch, Tanya Johnson, a Sports Boosters representative and Administration (Amanda). The committee set its next meeting for Dec. 13 at 7:45 a.m.
