PG&E is scheduled to file a Final Surrender Application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on or before July 29, 2025, which will trigger a final FERC comment period and a subsequent period in which PG&E will develop proposed plans and measures. RVAMAC discussed whether the council should appoint a committee to review the filing and draft comments on behalf of the community.
The minutes record the timeline and that members were considering forming a review committee but do not show that any formal committee was established at the May 7 meeting. The discussion was recorded so RVAMAC can decide whether to organize a working group before the filing and the FERC comment window opens.
