Sheridan County commissioners on May 19 adopted Resolution 26-05-051 issuing a Notice of Intent to vacate a portion of alley between Block 3 and Block 4 in the Town of Lodore subdivision, located in the S1/2 of Section 8, Township 53N, Range 83W.
County Engineer Ken Muller said the 40-foot-wide alley is unconstructed and overgrown, with fences and outbuildings encroaching into the right-of-way; vacating it could simplify access issues for some neighbors but might limit future access to lots east of the alley. Commissioner Holly Jennings moved to adopt the notice and the motion passed unanimously.
