Sheridan County commissioners on May 19 voted to extend the county's Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Wyoming Extension through June 30, 2030.
Administrative Director Cameron Duff said the new MOU is a four-year extension of the prior agreement and clarifies roles for extension and 4-H programming. Gretchen Gasvoda, a 4-H educator, and Danelle Pack, UW Extension Associate Director, explained staffing shortages have reduced county agents and that counties sometimes pursue local funding arrangements to add coordinators; the board voted to authorize the chair to sign the agreement.
