Sheridan County signs 2026–28 MOU with Wyoming Department of Health for public- and maternal-child health services

Sheridan County commissioners on May 19 approved a 2026–28 memorandum of understanding with the Wyoming Department of Health to continue county public-health and maternal-child health services.
Public Health Nurse Manager Heidi Smith presented the MOU and answered questions about program review. Smith said statewide program reviews have led to the elimination of some state-level programs and that local program review by the board has not been routine; Commissioner Nick Siddle moved to approve the MOU, and the board voted unanimously to authorize the chair to sign.
