Sheridan County approves $1.72 million budget amendment to modernize Fulmer Library elevator

Sheridan County commissioners on May 19 adopted Resolution No. 26-05-049 approving Budget Amendment No. 3, directing $1,566,995 from the Capital Facilities Tax Fund and $150,000 from Library Capital Projects to modernize the Fulmer Library elevator.
County Budget Officer Eda Schunk Thompson presented the amendment during a public hearing and the board accepted a substitute resolution to correct a typographical error before voting. Commissioner Nick Siddle moved to approve the resolution; the motion passed unanimously. The funding is earmarked in the FY25–26 budget for elevator modernization at the Fulmer Library.
