Public works installs 4-way stop on North Main; lining work completed near pump station

Public works staff (Rob) told the council crews had installed a 4-way stop at 1200 North Main Street, placed temporary advanced-warning signage and coordinated police presence to educate drivers ahead of the school year. "We've got the 4 way stop installed at, 1200 North Main Street ... Police have also had a presence out there to remind anybody who wasn't paying attention that there is a 4 way stop," Rob said.
Rob also reported completion of a trunk-line lining project near the city's pump station, noting unexpected extra prework in that area extended the schedule but the lining is now complete and crews are finishing cleanup. He invited council members to visit the public works yard while construction continues on vehicle bays and interior work.
