Superintendent Henry Webb described district nutrition efforts this summer, saying the school nutrition team continued the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program and piloted meal testing with students to refine offerings. "They're now testing some meals with kids... and they're actually tracking what kids eat and what they like," Webb said.
He connected that work to increases in breakfast and lunch participation over the summer and framed nutrition as part of student well-being and academic success. Webb noted that the district must follow federal and state nutrition guidelines.
