The Hill City Public School District board accepted a package of community gifts Jan. 27. The resolution accepting gifts lists specific amounts: Hill City Thrift Shop $600 to SWARM and $2,000 to SWARM and Prom (two entries), Lions Club $10,000 to Fitness Center and Wrestling, Lions Club $500 to Home Ec and Art, and Lions Club $200 to Yearbook. The board introduced and approved the resolution on a motion by Jeremy Nelson, seconded by Joell Miranda; roll call vote was unanimous among members present (5-0, 1 absent).
Board members thanked donors in the recognitions section of the agenda and recorded the items as accepted into district funds.
