Transitional Kindergarten report: enrollment, new curriculum and focus on engagement

Amberlee Benson presented Transitional Kindergarten enrollment statistics and told the board how the TK program is working during the new school year. Superintendent Steve Fisk also noted the district received a new TK/K–2 reading curriculum.
Fisk estimated total district enrollment at about 195 FTE and described online enrollment as "very successful." Principal Cori Kane said the first day of school went well and staff focused on student engagement, intentional teaching and relationship-building.
