The MSD of New Durham Township School Board met on Nov. 13, 2024, and recorded a sequence of approvals across personnel, contracts and finance. Board President Mark Parkman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., and the board recorded approval of minutes, personnel actions, donations, several contracts and financial resolutions before adjourning at 7:50 p.m.
Key approvals included ratification of the 2024–2025 Master Contract with the Westville Teachers Association; acceptance of a $300 donation from New Durham Estates and a $2,100 donation from Tri Kappa distributed across media and arts programs; authorization of a snow‑removal contract with Signature Lawns; approval of contracts with Proven and the LaPorte County Special Education Cooperative; and adoption of an additional appropriation resolution, a final bond resolution and a reimbursement resolution. "The mission of MSD of New Durham Township is to Inspire, Challenge, and Educate!" the district materials state.
The meeting record shows motions were made and seconded by board members for each item and recorded as carried. The board set its next regular meeting for Dec. 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the district media center.
