Principal Michaelson told the board that students in the Trades class would travel to Cohasset on Oct. 28 to tour the Boswell energy plant and the Yanmar/ASV factory as part of hands-on career and technical education. The Industrial Tech class received donated dock panels from Timber Creek Dock & Lift, which provided reclaimed lumber for student projects.
Certified staff representative Olaf Netteberg reported that Robotics Team 3102 and mentors were awarded the 2025 NMRC Impact Award at the conference held Oct. 24–25 in Brainerd. The team placed 2nd in the Conference Championship and 3rd in the Open Tournament, and was recognized for embodying the mission of FIRST and serving as a model for other teams.
