Nevis students earn academic honors and athletic milestones; volleyball, cross country updates

Student representative Adeline Bjorklund updated the board on recent student activities and athletics at the Oct. 27 meeting. Homecoming Week took place in early October. The football team finished the season 4–5, and the volleyball team was scheduled to play in the Section 5A semifinals on Oct. 28 at Crosby‑Ironton High School.
Adeline reported that runner Brennyn Ott advanced to the State Cross Country Meet at the University of Minnesota on Nov. 1. Both boys and girls cross country teams received Gold All-State Academic honors with team GPAs of 3.75; Adeline earned individual All-State Academic honors and both Brennyn and Adeline were named All-Section.
