The Long Prairie-Grey Eagle School District Board of Education convened a special meeting at 7:00 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2024 in the Secondary Auditorium. Board members present were Gohman, Lemke, Levin, Jager, Tonder, Wolf and Wright; others in attendance included district staff and local media.
On the agenda, Levin moved and Jager seconded to adopt the agenda; the roll-call vote was 4–3 in favor (Wright, Jager, Levin, Lemke yes; Gohman, Tonder, Wolf no). Later the board approved a contract for Doug Froke by the same 4–3 margin. Levin moved and Jager seconded to adjourn; that motion carried unanimously and the meeting ended at 7:17 a.m.
