Student representative Adeline Bjorklund told the board Student Council members peeled potatoes and cut 600 pieces of pumpkin pie for the annual Thanksgiving lunch. She also summarized solo contest results from Bagley, noting multiple 'Superior' ratings, and reminded the board of upcoming winter music concerts on Dec. 8, 15 and 16.
Certified staff representative Olaf Netteberg and Principal Michaelson reported on classroom and extracurricular activity: robotics team 3102 traveled to the Twin Cities for an Inspire Conference and will travel to North Dakota State University on Dec. 6 for JUMPSTART; 10 trades students sat for the boiler exam; and the North Country Vocational Cooperative Center secured $15,000 in CNC equipment for the industrial technology program. Dave McGee reported 37 wrestlers are participating, including four girls.
