Board approves consent agenda including coaching and canine-detection contracts

The approved items included the 2024-2025 Texas Education Agency Professional Development Waiver; We OWN Coaching contracts for A+ Academy and Inspired Vision Academy; Interquest Detection Canine agreements for both campuses; and 2024-2025 Support Staff on Demand agreements for both campuses. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Charles Oliver and seconded by Gene Walker; the vote was recorded Yea: 6, Nay: 0.
The consent vote bundles routine operational approvals intended to allow staff to proceed with contracts and services for the school year. Board members present at the vote were Theda Green (Board President), Linda Davis, Diana Cruz, Charles Oliver, Gene Walker and Ernest Crowley.
