Royalton board appoints members to committees and regional seats
Summary
Directors were assigned as representatives and alternates to city councils, finance and policy committees, Mid-State Education District, MSBA, Sourcewell and multiple negotiation and advisory committees during the Jan. 13 meeting.
The board named directors to a range of committees and external representative roles at the organizational meeting. Assignments include: Rian Hofstad (and alternate Jon Andres) to represent the district at Royalton City Council meetings; Lucas Boyd (and alternate Ellie Holm) for Bowlus City Council representation; Directors Maria Traut, Ellie Holm and Randy Hackett to the Finance Committee; Jon Andres, Maria Traut and Rian Hofstad to the Policy Committee; and Rian Hofstad as the Strategic Planning/Curriculum Advisory/CACR representative.
Other appointments noted in the minutes include representation to the Mid-State Education District (Director Rian Hofstad with Director Ellie Holm as alternate), Minnesota State High School League (Director Jon Andres, alternate Lucas Boyd), and a slate of negotiation and advisory representatives for labor, teachers, paras and principals. Meeting times for finance and policy committees were also set (4th Wednesday each month at 12:00pm and 2:00pm respectively).
