The Royalton Public School District board voted to adopt its 2025 meeting schedule and approved director compensation at the Jan. 13 organizational meeting. The board set regular meetings for the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM, with an alternate October meeting date of Oct. 6 in lieu of Columbus Day, and agreed to hold 12 regular board meetings for the year.
Directors approved compensation at $2,500 annually for each board member and a $500 per-year stipend for the chair. The board recorded that half the compensation will be paid in June 2025 and half in December 2025. The motion to approve meeting times and pay structure passed unanimously (Yea: 6, Nay: 0).
