The Carbondale Elementary School District No. 95 board approved a $228,190 contract with Samron to install an asphalt parking lot at Parrish School.
Field moved, seconded by Major, “Recommend approving the bid from Samron in the amount of $228,190 to install a parking lot at Parrish School.” The motion passed by roll call vote with Greer, Field, Cawthon, Major and Oliver voting yes; McHenry was absent.
According to the building committee report, two bids were submitted (ET Simonds and Samron Midwest) and the committee recommended the Samron base asphalt bid as the lowest responsible bidder.
