Board approves $132,787.79 renewal of Renaissance products including NearPod and Flocabulary

Assistant Superintendent Michelle Martin told the board that the district's Renaissance agreement was expanded to include NearPod and Flocabulary in addition to other Renaissance products. “This is the first agreement that includes NearPod and Flocabulary into the quote with all of our other Renaissance products,” Martin said.
On a motion from Catherine Field, seconded by Tangela Oliver, the board approved renewal of STAR 360, Star Phonics, FastBridge, Lalilo, Freckle, NearPod, Flocabulary and EduClimber at a combined cost of $132,787.79 for the 2026–2027 school year. The roll call vote recorded unanimous approval of members present (Greer absent).
Board materials indicate the suite will continue to support assessment (Star), instruction and supplemental tools across multiple grade levels; Martin said the renewal will be funded with grant dollars noted in the board packet.
