Superintendent Jeff Elstad recognized participants in Independent School District 761’s teacher apprenticeship program during the board’s Aug. 26 meeting.
Elstad named apprentices Jina Herron, Amy Richter, Reagan Schallau, Kari Steiskal, Scott Stevenson and Abby Sutcliffe; journey teachers Wendy Camerer, Alex Seiffert and Lauren Simon; and coordinators Chris Picha, Sarah Knudsen, Kelly Kruger and Heather Schutte. The recognition highlighted the district’s ongoing efforts to support teacher development through apprenticeship and mentorship structures.
