Board approves consent calendar including developer-fee study, consultant agreements and MOU with city

Trustees approved the consent calendar Oct. 8, which included a revised service agreement with SchoolWorks for a developer fee justification study and several consultant agreements and a memorandum of understanding with the City of Santa Clarita.
During the consent calendar the board approved a revised service agreement with SchoolWorks, Inc. to provide a developer fee justification study and school facilities need analysis (developer fee studies Level 1 & 2). The consent calendar also included consultant agreements with the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District (Golden Oak Community School), Cornerstone Photography (Leona Cox Community School), Dairy Council of California (Canyon Springs Community School), Mobile Ed Productions, Inc. (Leona Cox Community School), and Prismatic Magic LLC (Pinetree Community School), and a memorandum of understanding with the City of Santa Clarita for Drug-Free Youth in the Santa Clarita Valley.
The motion to approve the consent calendar was made by Trustee Paola Jellings and seconded by Trustee Ken Chase; the voice vote passed 4-0 with Trustee Shelley Weinstein recorded as absent. The Williams quarterly compliance report for July 1'Sept 30, 2025 was also presented; no complaints were reported for the quarter.
