Board creates Director of Technology role and updates management pay scale

Michael Hall, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Pupil Services, presented the job description and told the Board the role’s duties and responsibilities are intended to meet current and future district needs. "He affirmed that it aligns with the current and future needs of the District," the minutes state. The job description was approved on a 5-0 vote after a motion by Paola Jellings and a second by Ken Chase.
The Board then approved an amended Management Salary Schedule to add the position; that item was approved by voice vote (motion by Shelley Weinstein, second by Paola Jellings, vote 5-0). The minutes do not list the salary range for the new classification; the district indicated only that the schedule was updated to reflect the addition.
