The Sulphur Springs Union School District board approved a Variable Term Waiver for Alexandra Ochoa during its Aug. 13 regular meeting. Assistant Superintendent Michael Hall presented the waiver and the board voted to approve it 5-0 after staff updated the recommended-motion language as requested earlier in the meeting.
Trustee Shelley Weinstein moved the motion and Trustee Paola Jellings seconded it. President DeFigueiredo recorded the unanimous voice vote and the waiver was entered into district personnel records.
