The Sulphur Springs Union School District Governing Board on June 25 voted 4‑0 to adopt the district’s 2025–26 budget and accompanying multi‑year projections. Deputy Superintendent of Business Services Dr. Joshua Randall told the Board the approved budget must be submitted to the Los Angeles County Office of Education by June 30, 2025.
Dr. Randall said staff had previously presented the proposed budget at a public hearing on June 11. The adoption follows routine budget review and reflects the district’s stated commitments to maintain reserves; the Board also approved Resolution R‑25‑28 to keep committed reserves above 9.5% for fiscal years 2025‑26 through 2027‑28. "The District is required to submit the Board‑approved District's 2025‑2026 budget to the Los Angeles County Office of Education by June 30, 2025," Dr. Randall said. The Board approved the budget and projections by voice vote 4‑0.
