Sulphur Springs Union named a 2025 California Honor Roll district

Superintendent Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi told the Board that the Sulphur Springs Union School District earned 2025 California Honor Roll District recognition from the Educational Results Partnership (ERP).
ERP said district-level recognition is awarded to districts that outperform peers in closing achievement gaps and improving outcomes as measured by CAASPP results. The presentation noted that 158 districts statewide—approximately 21% of eligible districts—were named Honor Roll districts for 2025. The Board accepted the plaque and banner presented on behalf of the District.
