Principal Matt Gilpin presented a site update on programs, staffing and student activities at Canyon Springs Community School during the Nov. 19 Sulphur Springs Union School District Governing Board meeting. Sophia Aguayo, a sixth-grade Canyon Springs student, led the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the meeting.
The Board presented certificates of recognition to Kami Sunde and Jesseca Tobin (certificated employees) and Rebecca Huckeba and Veronica Walker (classified employees). Mrs. Lori MacDonald arrived at 7:38 PM during the presentation; the Board recessed at 8:10 PM and reconvened at 8:19 PM.
