The Waterville‑Elysian‑Morristown Board of Education formally canvassed the Nov. 5, 2024 general election returns at its Nov. 12 special meeting and certified Jeffrey M. Stangler, June A. Rezac and Jay Schneider as elected to four‑year terms beginning the first Monday in January 2025. The board approved the canvass resolution by roll‑call vote, 7‑0.
The board then voted, also 7‑0, to authorize issuance of certificates of election and directed the school district clerk to perform related duties including preparing abstracts and certificates of election and enclosing acceptance and oath forms. The official meeting record includes the clerk's certificate attesting to the Abstract and Return of Votes Cast and a Secretary of State printout showing results from all 16 precincts for ISD #2143 (WATERVILLE‑ELYSIAN‑MORRISTOWN).
