During public comment Brandy Buchanan described a roadside-sightline hazard at her daughter's home, 1750 Talkin' Rock Road, saying that a high bank and vegetation block the driveway view and that the roadside mirror is the only way to check for oncoming cars. She said Cherokee County staff advised cutting back the bank and that Pickens County staff told her utility-line removal might be required.
"The mirror that is up is the only way that they can look out when we pull out the driveway," Buchanan said, describing near-miss incidents when vehicles travel "way too fast." The chair said staff would follow up and asked Buchanan to provide contact details after the meeting so county crews could investigate.
